I want to thank you for the wonderful experience I had with my spinal fusion over a year ago on Thanksgiving. The entire staff was very professional and friendly. Like many people, I was a bit apprehensive at first to even think about having the procedure. But after talking with the staff, Dr. Ibrahim and Josh, I felt very comfortable and reassured that I was making the right decision.
It is now a little over a year since my surgery, and I am thrilled to say that I have been free from back pain for the entire time! I can go hiking with my husband and dogs, downhill ski and cross-country ski with no back pain. It is absolutely wonderful!
“I could keep rambling on about how happy I am not to be in pain after dealing with it for 20 years. I am leading an active life again! (I have also learned that cross-country skiing for 10 miles in any one day might be a bit much!) NO PAIN …WOOO HOOO!”

Paula, I want to thank you for all the things you said to James yesterday. ... We don’t have mutch for support, it’s really just he and I. Yesterday I felt like the clouds opened and let the sun in after talking to you ... the hugs you gave yesterday were needed so much more than either of us knew. We are so very grateful for YOU!

“I want you to know how much I appreciate your kindness, care and surgical skills. After more than two years of pain and pain pills, I am free of both!”

First, I want to thank you for your excellent work and care during and following my surgery in November 2007. A friend had a similar surgery in DC, but had less than ideal results. I am in great shape and have very little in the way of residual effects …. Second, I have a rather odd question. Because I’ve been so active since surgery, I’ve lost weight and fast. I’m considering a tummy tuck, and while it’s not spine surgery, I want to make sure this decision won’t in any way diminish your good work. Is it okay to go ahead with this? ... Thank you all, truly. I feel great!

Coming to South Denver Spine was my last hope. I am 70 years old and have had rheumatoid arthritis for more than 30 years. For the past four years, I have been living with chronic pain in my back due to scoliosis and degenerative arthritis. I also had a pinched nerve that caused constant pain down my right leg to my ankle. I had two decompressions done and then resorted to a stimulator to help relieve the pain. My previous surgeons were not very confident that a fusion would be helpful for me, or that they could do it successfully considering my health issues. I had been taking narcotic pain medications for almost five years, and they did not relieve the pain. On my last visit to my pain management doctor, he said the scoliosis of my spine had worsened drastically in just two months. He referred me to Dr. Ibrahim. Story continued • >>
“My family and I have been praying for a miracle for five years, and Dr. Ibrahim is that miracle.”
